What is Parmesan wheel (cheese wheel) pasta?

It is fresh pasta tossed inside a large, hollowed wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano, so the pasta picks up the cheese as it is mixed with the sauce. At Pastasole it is our signature: fettuccine Alfredo finished in the wheel to order.
